Last week, the Grade 10 Senior gold Peer Educators from Inkunzi Secondary School, served a group of children and peers at Siyaphilisa Home Community Based Care in rural Mpumalanga. The gold Peer Educators delivered an interactive peer education session on “Reaching My Goals”, influencing and empowering these at-risk children with skills and knowledge. They also volunteered their time to collect clothes from the community to donate to the children, they played with them and helped to clean the Centre. The Centre Manager was extremely grateful, saying, “Seeing young people dedicating their time to teach others life skills is real love and care in action.” Well done gold Peer Educators!
