gold-youth partners with grassroots youth organizations across Africa in two ways:
1. Do-it-Yourself and become a Wide Partner
Grassroots youth organizations across Africa that want to learn and benefit from the gold Model, its methodology and curriculum can access:
- Free online orientation session
- 4-day online gold Peer Education onboarding training at a fee of 250 USD, which includes access to an online toolkit of curricula and selected training resources to support you in the implementation of your youth programme.
2. gold Social Franchising: become a Deep Partner
Selected, community-based organizations working with youth can apply to become a gold Social Franchisee. This requires a more rigorous level of commitment to gold Model milestones towards specific youth outcomes. Most gold Social Franchisees start off using the gold Model methodology as a Wide Partner first. We provide gold Social Franchisees:
- Due diligence assessment and support to become a gold Social Franchisee
- Coaching and training to implement a gold Peer Education Programme to gold Model standards
- Quality assurance and results-based assessment
- Access to the gold Community of Practice where you participate in an ecosystem of like-minded organizations across different parts of Africa. Current countries of operation include South Africa, Zambia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Rwanda and Malawi.
