Our Youths
Zoe Ndlovu Mzilikazi, Zimbabwe, Peer Educator.
20 years, I envision Africa as a supportive continent that supports young people in realizing their dreams. I also see myself as an expert in gynecology, spearheading campaigns to combat drug and sexual abuse, as well as establishing an orphanage for young children.
Amanda Ntyeyi, South Africa, gold Grad.
In 2044, I see myself as a successful businesswoman who has multiple successful businesses. I also see myself as a successful lawyer because I believe in justice. I envision my community as a well-developed one, and I believe that I will be the one to bring about positive change. I am confident in my ability to do so.
Thulare Rivaldo, South Africa, gold Grad.
In 20 years, I envision myself owning my psychological practice and making a positive impact in my community by helping young people break free from drugs and alcohol. I also hope to see my community making progress toward unity and self-improvement, and I have the same aspirations for the continent of Africa. I believe that we will be less xenophobic and more united as Africans.
Katongo Mapalo, Zambia, Peer Educator.
By 2044, Africa will have leapfrogged traditional methods and embraced technology, biotech, and renewable energy. I urge decision-makers to understand that empowering the youth is key to empowering the future of Africa. I want to encourage them to invest in the education system and in skill development, as well as in innovations that will help African youth excel and become better individuals in the future.
