Great opportunity for young people. Are you a high school student with talent, drive, energy, and ideas to make meaningful impacts as a young leader even before you begin your university studies? If your answer is YES! Here is a great opportunity to participate in the Yale Young African Scholars Program (YYAS) six-day residential program designed for African secondary school students. This high intensity program gives students the opportunity to participate in lectures and seminars taught by Yale faculty, local practitioners, and students currently enrolled at Yale on topics ranging from diplomacy to education, urbanization, energy, and health. YYAS also prepares students for the demanding application processes of U.S. colleges and universities.

In 2015 YYAS will host programs in the following locations:
Rwanda: August 11 – 16
Zimbabwe: August 20 – 25

2015 applications are now available online and are due February 26
