Applications for the Human Rights Peer Education and Social Cohesion Program 2014

Africa Unite (AU) is offering their FREE annual Human Rights Peer Education and Social Cohesion Program Training. Each year they select 25 young people from diverse groups, genders, and cultural variations between the ages of 17 and 25 to join the program. ‘Equipped to Serve’ training in the Western Cape

On 22-25th of July, Facilitators in the Western Cape participated in the 'Equipped to Serve' (ETS) Counselling training. The objectives of this training were: to equip Facilitators as non-professional counsellors to be able to deal with someone in crisis, to provide them with the skills needed to help someone facing a difficulty or challenge to equip Facilitators to come alongside Peer Educators to help them find solutions to their problems/challenges.
