Kabwe YMCA’s Camp a Great Success!

From the 21st to 25th August 2013, at Kasavasa campsite in Kabwe, Zambia, a total of 150 Peer Educators and 7 peers got together to enjoy the wonderful opportunity to interact, share ideals, improve presentation skills and build self esteem, as well as increasing their knowledge about HIV and AIDS. ‘Equipped to Serve’ training in the Western Cape

On 22-25th of July, Facilitators in the Western Cape participated in the 'Equipped to Serve' (ETS) Counselling training. The objectives of this training were: to equip Facilitators as non-professional counsellors to be able to deal with someone in crisis, to provide them with the skills needed to help someone facing a difficulty or challenge to equip Facilitators to come alongside Peer Educators to help them find solutions to their problems/challenges.

Zambian Young Adolescents Tested at National VCT day

Zambia recently commemorated National VCT (Voluntary Counselling and Testing) day which took place on 28th June, 2013. These two young ladies believe  in their dream of winning SA Idols this year!
